(“Altisource” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: ASPS), a leading provider and marketplace for the real estate and mortgage industries, today announced that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of shares of common stock. The offering is subject to market and other conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed or as to the actual size or terms of the offering. In addition, the Company intends to grant the underwriters a thirty-day option to purchase up to an additional 15% of shares of its common stock offered in the public offering.
Guggenheim Securities, LLC is acting as the sole book-running manager for the offering.
Altisource intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, including repayment of certain indebtedness.
